Table House was designed to entertain. It is a great place for celebrations.
We have hosted milestone birthdays, small weddings (including an elopement), anniversaries, long table lunches, charity events, a baby shower, a wedding proposal, a corporate business planning weekend and visiting chefs.
We’ve also hosted private house concerts with several international artists including Mercedes Gomez-Benet, Harp Professor at Mexico National Conservatory; one of Ireland's most famous singer/songwriters, Andy Irvine; the twice Grammy-nominated alt-country singer/songwriter, Kim Ritchie from Nashville, Tennessee; and Canada's revered, multi-award winning folk singer/storyteller, David Francey.
The space works so well – whether the gathering is large or very small. And it works at any time of year. Winter events in front of a roaring fire can be very romantic and cosy.,
Table House is suitable for small weddings. We had a lovely winter wedding on a very wild night in July. The ceremony, followed by champagne and canapés, was held in a marquee on the croquet lawn and then guests sat down to dinner inside in front of a roaring fire. You could just as easily have the ceremony around the fire before the celebration.
Visiting professional chefs are always surprised to find a very workable commercial kitchen at Table House. It was designed by renowned Sydney chef, Warren Turnbull (former 2-hatted chef of Assiette Restaurant), who has served some stunning meals from here.
If you’d like to dial a chef we can supply you with names of local chefs who are willing to cook even just for a few, but please give us as much notice as you can. Good chefs are in demand.
If you wanted to hold a small corporate event (breakfast, lunch, dinner or conference) in this stunning location, Table House is ideal for this.
We are fully equipped for sit down functions for 40 people – tables, chairs, white linen tablecloths and serviettes, crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is ample free parking on the premises.
Maximum 60 people:
The venue can take up to 60 people for cocktail style event. There is ample free parking on the premises.
Guests need to organise their own caterers and any specific decorative arrangements. We can assist with names of local chefs.
The Venue Only: $3300 plus GST for up to 40 people. (Extra people: $20 per head plus GST) This gives you access for 3 days – the day before to set up (from 9 am - 7 pm) and the day after for clearing up (until midday).
Bridal Party Accommodation: $1200 plus GST per night up to 8 people (flat rate - minimum 2 nights)
Day only for party to dress: $600 + GST (available only if hiring venue for wedding)
Security Deposit: $1000 plu
Special Events for up to 40 people:
The Venue: $2000 plus GST for up to 40 people. (Extra people by negotiation.) This gives you access on the day of the event (from 8 am) until midday the next day to clear up.
NB: Accommodation charged separately.
Security Deposit: $500 - $1000 depending on size and type of event
Special Events for up to 20 people:
The Venue: $1000 plus GST for up to 20 people for the day only.
